3rd Quarter: 01
New year, new quarter and more “resolutions” that Imma guess I don’t end up fulfilling, but I’m very determined this time especially with how much things I messed up on last year. This week was a short three day week so we had no magic notes, as for my classes they were really boring. I was stressing on my yearbook pages because I thought winter fair was due already and I had not written the title page yet 😭… anyways, I was so excited that I have Ms. Piecuch and finished Mr.Bob’s media class with good grades. That is until I realized majority of the class work s is word search galoreeee 🤒🤒🤒. English was also the death of me this week because I couldn’t help but falling asleep but yeah. Overall, not a bad start to this semester, it could be better.
My highlights this week were that everything felt fresh, mostly because of the break so I was more in tune with things happening around me and I’m quite optimistic ( even though I don’t think I really show it..) so that really motivated me for some sort of academic redemption. I was also really excited to see my friends after such a long and boring break, and I got ungrounded 😛 so yay. As for lowlights, I didn’t have much. The main thing that killed me was i-ready, math I-ready was so difficult and I realized how much concepts I forget easily. I definitely need to start practicing those, probably on khan academy or something because I- ready really doesn’t help me that much, I think if anything it confuses me more 😟
My lesson for this week is to be able to move on and not let things hold you back, especially troubles that have happened in the past. When I do anything in life, it’s always a constant debate of do this or that because before I did or didn’t or I experienced great trouble in that aspect.. Now I learned, especially with it being the new year to try new things and see things more openly.
