weekly blog: oct 15
I cannot believe its second quarter already. I think school goes by pretty quick when you're busy ๐ญ anyways, first week of the quarter and we've got new additions to the class. Advisory is really full now and there's many more people to get to know. On Thursday our fall decorations were due so whenever I got the chance to at home, I made little Halloween/ fall icons and attached them to fairy lights. I think it turned out pretty neat. Period 3 worked TV this week and to be honest it was pretty good. Now that its second quarter and we've had last quarter to work TV were getting the hang of it and there's definitely noticeable improvements.
A highlight of this week was the new people that joined the class! It was fun to start introducing ourselves to each other and just from this week alone I think our new period 3 members are gonna do so well. I can just imagine how closer we can all grow to be over the year and that's pretty exciting. Another highlight of mine was fall decorations. I LOVE decorating + fall and Halloween in general so being able to create something that sets the classroom up for that mood was so yesss. Plus, I think my crafts turned out pretty cute ๐ so my two days of work were definitely worth it. Now for lowlights.. I didn't really have much. I guess it was just my personal mood because I wasn't very into it for some of my classes. Likeee don't get me wrong they're pretty nice but it just gets repetitive and sucky. ( but that's just me personally bc everything else is rlly nice )
My lesson for this week is to get to know new people, and not just in a basic way but actually getting to know them and include them. With everyone that's joined that's very important so we can build a stronger cooperative team. + Later on magic notes should not have to feel like a task to do because of how we should be learning about each other and eventually getting closer :)
