weekly blog: sep 17

This week was just another week lolol. My group had to work tv and everyone got to go on for each day of the week. This was also the last week of flag football and 8th graders worked after school sales. For our leadership periods we discussed the retreat as well as planned out our chopped, cheers, and dances. Thursday was an ISA day, Mr. Ing didn't go but we had no flag football that day anyways. For my core classes this week, there was a lot of tests and finally, on Friday I did morning announcements.

My highlights this week were TV because I got to do more jobs than the last time we worked. So by this I mean I got to do slides, producer, and alma mater. I also think I improved my morning announcements from last time because I looked less dead and spoke more confidently. Another great highlight of mine this week was planning retreat things with my group. I love period 3 leadership they are very funny and also contribute lots of great ideas 😋🤗, I think we got a lot of stuff planned and were pretty productive. ( despite our very many laughs 😭 ) For lowlights, It'd have to be flag football. When we went out this week I felt pretty out of it, probably because it was the last week but also because it was really hot. Plus, lots of the homerooms were arriving late so the games weren't going as planned but at least Friday was the last day. Now, I'm looking forward to seeing the team flag football and how it'll workout.

This week I learned more about retreat and to be prepared for everything when it finally comes around. In our leadership period 3, we had a very long discussion about how retreat works and everything we should expect so our ground did our best to prepare, like chopped and cheers. I also had this same lesson as Gabrielle this week but I am very appreciative of my period and I think they are very uplifting, so my lesson is to appreciate those around you.
