weekly blog: aug 26

This past week, period 3 was on TV. On Tuesday, Thursday, And Friday I got to work alma mater. It was a very simple job because all I had to do was count and click, but for some announcements I had to switch tabs and match my timing. On Wednesday, I got to star on morning announcements for the first time. Anyways, we also had to work picture taking for period 3 leadership and on Thursday I chose to work period 6. To be honest, I don't think working period 6 was the best choice because I had a science test the next day but I managed to catch up. For other classes there were lots of tests throughout the week like for Science, Social Studies, and English.

It felt like a rollercoaster this week, I can't tell if it's because of all the classwork but it just felt like a long rollercoaster. One highlight of mine this week was being able to work TV. Our period was the one to be able to start off Thursday Trivia after a long time. It was really fun to yell "Ay Ay Captain" on Fridays broadcast. When we first heard about what Janzen had to do, Gabrielle and I could not stop cracking up. 😭😭 For my lowlights this week, it'd have to be going on TV on Wednesday. I knew I was going on about a week in advance and I was preparing to speak loud but on the day of, I messed up my cue and started late. It was really embarrassing too because my friends told me later at recess that they could hear me breathing from the mic and I was really loud. ( It's okay though, this is a learning experience!! )

My lesson learned from this week is to be aware of your surroundings. I gathered this from Wednesdays broadcast because I was playing around and didn't realize the live had started. Next time I'll also keep in mind non harmful joking vs. joking around that can get you in trouble. ( Yes, I also had this lesson in my blog like two weeks ago )
