Weekly Blog : Aug 20

 This week, we began daily duties and continued public speaking for my period 3 leadership. We also worked on interviewing Mr. Ing and creating a miniature bio cube. On Monday, Gabrielle and I worked together to create the morning announcements intro for Tuesday. Other than this, I went to the first royal prodigies workshop on Monday with some of the other 8th graders and some 7th graders. I didn't end up auditioning however :O . Everyday we also worked on after school shops. This week there were a lot of students that came and sold out lots of snacks.

My highlights of this week were creating the intros. I like decorating and creating so it was also so fun to see it on the broadcast the next morning. Another highlight of mine was interviewing Mr. Ing. At first, I was pretty nervous and I tried to make my questions with lots of variety and to be meaningful. The interview went better than expected and from that I was able to make a bio cube of my questions and learn more about Mr. Ing. Attending the royal prodigies workshop was also really fun. I was sweating balls but I enjoyed learning Mikka's choreography. Unfortunately, I was thinking and decided not to audition. My lowlights of this week were just science class. I barely got to do anything in that class because time was being taken up to lecture students and redo our class entry. 

My lesson for this week is to be appreciative of the little things, I got this from interviewing Mr. Ing.
